GoMeet may currently allow users aged 16 to under 18 to interact with users aged 18 and older.
Users must exercise sound judgment and proactively evaluate the suitability and safety of every online interaction or in-person meetup. 3.1. Account Registration
To access some or all features of GoMeet, you may be required to register an account using:
Your email address;

You are solely responsible for:

Protecting access to your registered email account;
Not sharing your account credentials with anyone else;
Not transferring or assigning your account to any third party;

And other attributes supported by GoMeet.
You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of any information or images you upload.
3.4. Account Verification
GoMeet offers a verification mechanism to help ensure that an account is operated by a real individual.
The current verification workflow may involve:
Email verification;
Submitting a verification selfie;
A manual review of the selfie by authorized GoMeet personnel.
A “Verified” badge or status solely indicates that the account has completed the verification procedure in place at that time. This badge does NOT signify that GoMeet has verified legal identity via a Citizen Identity Card, National ID, passport, or other official government-issued documents, unless expressly stated otherwise.
GoMeet reserves the right to reject, revoke, or require re-verification upon detecting signs of impersonation, suspicious activity, significant profile changes, or whenever deemed necessary to preserve service integrity and user safety. Further details and safety recommendations can be found in the GoMeet Safety & Support Guide.
4. DISCOVERY, DISTANCE, AND LOCATION SERVICES
GoMeet may use your device’s approximate location data to:
Enable the “Nearby” or discovery features;
Calculate and display relative distance between users;
Deliver other location-based services.
GoMeet does not intentionally display your exact GPS coordinates to other users. Other users may only see approximate distance expressed in meters, kilometers, or equivalent units.
You are strictly prohibited from using distance data or any information obtained via GoMeet to:
Track or stalk individuals;
Attempt to unlawfully ascertain someone’s residence, workplace, or private location;
Intimidate, threaten, or harass;

Our practices regarding the collection, processing, storage, and erasure of location data are governed by the GoMeet Privacy Policy.
5. DINING INVITATIONS AND MEETUPS

Sender and recipient;
Restaurant or venue;
Proposed dishes or dining preferences;
Tentative date and time;
Invitation status (pending, accepted, declined);
And other relevant details.
The recipient reserves full discretion to accept or decline any invitation. Receiving or accepting an invitation does not create any legal obligation to attend an in-person meetup, respond, continue communication, or perform any commitments toward the sender.
5.2. Prohibited Conduct
You must NOT:
Persistently send invitations after a recipient has declined or expressed disinterest;
Use invitations to distribute spam;

5.3. Cancellations and No-Shows
GoMeet does not automatically penalize accounts solely for failing to show up at a scheduled meetup. However, users are strongly encouraged to communicate promptly or adjust plans if they are unable to attend.
GoMeet reserves the right to investigate and sanction users who weaponize invitations to harass, scam, cause harm, or abuse platform systems.
6. MESSAGING AND USER-GENERATED CONTENT

Photos;
Videos.
Under ordinary circumstances, chat content is accessible only to the participants of that specific conversation, subject to service configurations and technical implementations.

Pertinent to ongoing investigations of policy violations;
Involving safety incidents or fraud;
Or where permitted or mandated by applicable law.
7. IN-PERSON SAFETY AND OFFLINE MEETUPS
GoMeet facilitates digital connections that may lead to in-person meetups. The decision of whether to meet, whom to meet, where to meet, when to meet, and how long to remain at a meetup rests solely with you.

Chat communication is severed;
Invitations can no longer be exchanged;
Mutual profile visibility is restricted;
Users will no longer appear to each other in “Nearby” or discovery feeds;
Other appropriate technical safeguards are enacted.

Inappropriate or illegal content;
Fake or impersonated profiles;
Scams or extortion attempts;

Take no formal action;
Issue an informal or formal warning;
Mandate content editing or removal;
Restrict specific account features;
Restrict user interactions;
Require account re-verification;
Revoke verification badges;
Temporarily suspend the account;
Permanently ban or terminate the account;
Apply other reasonable technical or administrative safeguards.
Where there is a substantial threat to personal safety, platform integrity, or fraud prevention, GoMeet may implement interim suspensions prior to completing a formal investigation.

Your use of third-party features may additionally be governed by the respective terms and privacy policies of those external providers.
12. PAYMENTS AND PAID FEATURES
GoMeet may offer consumable virtual products, recurring subscriptions, Premium features, one-time purchases, or other paid perks from time to time.
In-app purchases are processed via:
Apple App Store;
Google Play Store;
Or other payment gateways integrated by GoMeet in the future.
Transactions executed via Apple or Google are subject to the applicable billing terms, rules, and procedures of those respective platforms.
12.1. Pricing and Transaction Terms
Prior to finalizing any purchase, applicable transaction terms will be clearly displayed, including:
Price and billing currency;

Free trial or promotional terms (if applicable).
Prices may vary based on platform, region, subscription tenure, currency exchange rates, statutory taxes, or ongoing promotions.
12.2. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
Certain GoMeet paid features are provided on an automatically renewing subscription basis.
If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, it will automatically renew and your Apple or Google account will continue to be billed on a recurring basis until you actively cancel the subscription through the corresponding platform.
12.3. Canceling Subscriptions
Uninstalling or deleting the GoMeet app does NOT cancel your subscription.
Deleting your GoMeet account does NOT cancel your subscription managed through Apple or Google.
To cancel:
Subscriptions purchased through Apple must be managed and canceled via your Apple ID Account Settings.
Subscriptions purchased through Google must be managed and canceled via your Google Play Subscriptions Settings.
Unless mandated otherwise by the billing platform or consumer laws, you will retain access to your paid perks until the end of your current paid billing period following cancellation.
12.4. Refunds
Canceling a subscription or deleting your account does not create an automatic right to a refund.
For purchases completed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be directed to and handled by the respective platform operator in accordance with their refund guidelines. GoMeet does not guarantee that refund requests will be granted.
12.5. Billing Discrepancies and Restore Purchases
If you were charged but the premium perks were not credited, or if a transaction appears duplicate or pending, please verify transaction status with Apple or Google Play first.

Or contact GoMeet Support for technical assistance.
GoMeet may request:
Registered email or account handle;
Platform used (Apple/Google);

Do NOT provide your Apple ID password, Google account password, SMS OTP, or full credit card numbers to GoMeet support.
12.6. Chargebacks and Reversals
If a transaction is refunded, reversed, voided, charged back, or determined fraudulent:
GoMeet reserves the right to retract or adjust the premium benefits associated with that transaction.
While a chargeback does not automatically result in account termination, GoMeet may suspend or terminate accounts where there is evidence of payment fraud, refund abuse, or bad-faith chargebacks.
12.7. Payment & Refund Policy
Detailed stipulations regarding paid features, billing cycles, auto-renewals, cancellations, and refunds are outlined in the GoMeet Payment & Refund Policy. Platform-mandated terms from Apple and Google continue to apply concurrently.
